Career Experience

I worked for my college for two academic years mentoring freshmen from a limited-income and/or first-generation background, which really taught me how to make others feel welcome and how to interact with others in a professional yet empathetic manner. My time as an orientation leader also grew my passion for helping others. In addition to that, I majored in history, so I know how instrumental education has been and continues to be in transforming societies. I also did general transcription for four months in 2021, which tested and strengthened my ability to quickly learn skills and complete detail-oriented tasks.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love academics, explaining complex subject matter, helping others, and seeing people achieve their goals!

Either get rid of or expand the class list when looking for sessions. It hinders rather than helps as it isn't essential for finding sessions. Especially during Summer when some classes are not in session, Ifa student is studying chemistry over summer but the class is not offered over summer and they come for tutoring they have no ¨class¨ to enter in
