Career Experience

For the past 20 years, I’ve worked with students both in the classroom and through online tutoring, helping them grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. I’m certified in Elementary Education, Middle School English and Social Studies, Gifted Education, and Literacy. I’ve taught English at every level—from 4th grade through college—and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and find success in their learning.

I Love Tutoring Because

it gives me the chance to really meet students where they are and help things start to click. In a one-on-one setting, I can break things down, adjust in the moment, and focus on what each student actually needs. I especially enjoy helping students build confidence in their reading and writing—seeing them go from hesitant to more sure of themselves is what makes it all worth it. For me, it’s about more than just getting the right answer; it’s about helping students feel capable and successful in their learning.
