Career Experience

Teaching has been a part of my life for over 15 years. I have worked as an English Literature teacher at the junior-senior high school level and a writing instructor at the college level. In addition, I am a fiction writer, and I write supernatural/sci-fi mystery novels and short stories. Learning to write well is important because few people still do it well, and it is the best way to express your ideas with detail and clarity.

I Love Tutoring Because

I get to work with young writers one-on-one and in small groups. This more intimate setting allows me to instruct in ways that are specific to individual needs rather than the needs of 40 students. This makes my job easier and a lot more fun!
