Academics

If youre on the hunt for a prestigious business school in a fantastic location, you might want to consider George Washington University. Certainly, being situated in the heart of Washington D.C., the program has a strong focus on international business and plenty of opportunities for working and studying abroad. As one thrilled second-year student chimes in, I studied in Israel & Rwanda while pursuing my MBA. Moreover, given that many students here lead busy lives, they fully appreciate that its easy to create a flexible schedule. Indeed, were told that its common to take a mix of online and in-person courses. Whats more, this flexibility extends beyond just scheduling. Students thankfully have a lot of opportunity to take courses outside of the business school that relate to [their] career interests.

Inside the classroom, MBA candidates are greeted by polished, professional and brilliant professors who typically maintain an open door policy. One impressed student volunteers, Most of my professors have exceeded my expectations in terms of making their subject matter relevant and engaging. Unfortunately, MBAs arent as kind when it comes to GWs administrators. Many bluntly assert that they are poor at their jobs. However, as one optimistic student explains, We went through three different deans since Ive started a couple years ago, but again, things are picking up and changing for the better.
