Students can participate in our mentoring program and be matched with a faculty member or alumni in their field of interest and join peer working groups specific to their professional backgrounds. Through our virtual student and alumni platform, JWMI Connect, students can access job boards, attend quarterly career coaching and leadership webinars with the Dean and school leadership, and weekly industry and career-specific live sessions with faculty and professional guests. We also host local career events with partners such as LinkedIn. Within our curriculum, the learning objectives of each course are designed to be career and on-the-job focused. Students also have access to writing and communication coaches and finance and economics tutors for additional support. In addition, students have access to the career center at Strayer University, including resume and cover letter assistance and personalized career coaching.
