General Application Procedures

1. Completed on-line or paper applications should be submitted to the Office of New Student Development.
2. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee due at the time of application.
3. Official high school transcripts or GED transcripts must be submitted if you will be entering the University with less than 60 semester / 90 quarter hours of college credit.
4. Official transcripts of all postsecondary educational institutions previously attended should be submitted.
5. Both the graduate and doctor of chiropractic degrees require personal letters of recommendation.
6. Results of appropriate official test scores may be required (see specific degree listings), such as SAT, ACT or GRE.
7. Any person falsifying admissions information is subject to immediate dismissal from the University.
8. The University must receive all required documentation ACT or SAT scores are not required if you have completed at least 14 semester / 20 quarter hours of college credit at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the quarter the student wishes to begin enrollment.
9. All applicants must reveal whether they have a criminal record and cooperate by providing complete information for review. A record of serious criminal convictions may disqualify an applicant for admission.
10. Applications for admission are good for one year. If matriculation does not occur within one year, students must submit another application and fee.


International Applicants

1. Must also submit proof of proficiency in English i.e. TOEFL score must be TOEFL computer based -173 or higher, paper based 500 or higher, or internet based 90 or higher i.e. score of 70 or above. Students who do not meet the required scores may be admitted as provisional students and will be required to take English as a Second Language (ESL) at the University. These students will be given three quarters to demonstrate proficiency to continue in their program.
2. Must submit evidence of having the financial resources or funding commitment to complete at least one year of education. Financial resources should cover the cost of room, board, tuition and incidental expenses. Documentation must be dated within six months of the students anticipated matriculation date.
3. International transcripts must be evaluated by an approved international evaluation agency. Contact the Office of New Student Development for a complete list of approved international transcript evaluation agencies.
4. If accepted, international students are required to carry a minimum of twelve quarter-hours of academic coursework in order to meet the full-time requirement of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service.
5. The University must receive all documentation at least 45 days prior to the beginning of the quarter the student wishes to begin enrollment.
