At Trinity University, we place the student experience at the heart of everything we do. Home to more than 2,500 students, we foster a close–knit community where personalized attention and a supportive environment help each student thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Regardless of major, Trinity provides the resources usually found at much larger institutions: scholarships, undergraduate research, internships, study abroad, and state–of–the–art facilities and equipment. With big–school resources in a small–school environment, Trinity ensures you will benefit from connections and innovations typically found at the graduate level.

Trinity offers more than 100 majors and minors, with advising programs in Pre–Law and Health Professions (including Pre–Medical). Through our interdisciplinary second major, you can combine your academic interests and passions to create your own double major. Students have created majors in social entrepreneurship, music business, and much more~

Trinity University has a varied demographic, which creates a "rich tapestry of experiences." More importantly to students, this "abundant diversity of personalities, races, identities... interests and passions," which includes "a strong LGBTQ+ community," comes together in a "very family-like atmosphere." The university is credited with fostering how "students interact, really bringing out a certain unity." Within the student body there are also "student leaders who have great pride for their cultures," which makes it "extremely enjoyable to join culture clubs around campus to celebrate different ethnic groups." The breadth of diversity on campus also is evident "in relation to character and ideas. The campus is filled with unique individuals who each bring something different to the table." Students also share a common goal of "being interested in learning and [being] hardworking" and many "take on multiple disciplines of education and are involved in an array of campus organizations." There's a reason students are known as Trinity Tigers: they are "helpful, collaborative, and rarely competitive," say enrollees, and are "cultivating life-long relationships."

While academics are a large focal point of the Trinity University experience, the campus promotes a "work hard/play hard dynamic." In addition to a large focus on studies, there are also ample opportunities for recreation through numerous student-led organizations. Greek life, intramural sports, an onsite fitness center, theater and film clubs, and mock trials are some of the most popular activities and "rec sports are top notch." There are also more niche interests such as a "knitting club ... and Taylor Swift club [that help students] find people with similar interests." Many student organizations are connected with the larger San Antonio community and offer ways to "engage with volunteering"; a popular pick among students is the Cats Alliance that "feeds, spays/neuters, [and] vaccinates" any stray cats on campus, and "has a great group of people involved in taking care of them." Students attest to how well these activities add to Trinity's "well-rounded experience, both academically and socially," by allowing them to "explore interests and develop new skills."

Trinity University’s Career Services looks to provide students with every tool they need to personalize their individual career paths, including coaching, industry-specific panels, and recruiting events. The office sees “facilitating connections” as one of its main roles, and Trinity’s small size makes it so “everyone really knows everyone, even alumni, which is really great because it makes networking so much easier.” Through an array of online resources, students can see what paths can be followed with various majors and even see the jobs that Trinity alums have held at different companies. Career fairs are held several times throughout the year, and students can avail themselves of the Tiger Advantage Professionalism Program to ensure their skill sets are career-ready and their resumes are well-rounded. According to PayScale.com, 50 percent of Trinity graduates consider their careers to provide a high level of meaning, and the median starting salary is roughly $63,100.
