TYPES OF TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE TO CAMPUS

City buses, University Shuttle, Greyhoud bus. Airport is 15 minutes from campus and provides several flights daily to Chicago and Minneapolis, MN.


DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO CAMPUS

From the South: Take highway 61 to the Grandview Ave. Exit, turn left on Grandview Ave. to University Ave., turn left on University and go two blocks to the campus. From the North: Take Highway 52 (becoems Cetral Ave.), turn right on 10th St. (becomes University Ave.) and go approximately 10 blocks to the campus. From Wisconsin: Take Highway 151/61 in the city to Highway 20 Dodge St., turn right on Highway 20 Dodge St, take the Fremont/Grandview Ave. Exit and turn right on Grandview Ave., turn left on University Ave. and go two blocks to the campus. From Illinois: Take Highway 20 across the The Mississippi River into Dubuque (it becomes Dodge St. in the city), continue to the Fremont/Grandview Ave. Exit, turn right on Grandview Ave. to University Ave. and go two blocks to the campus. From the West: Take Highway 20 into Dubuque to the Freemont/Grandview Ave. Exit, continue past Freemont Ave. on the service street to Grandview Ave., turn left on Grandview Ave. to University Ave., turn left on University Avenue and go two blocks to the campus.

LOCAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Hotels, Motels, $50 to $100 per night. For overnight stays we have negotiaged rates at the following hotels: Best Western Midway (563-557-8000) $69; Hampton Inn (563-690-2005) $69; Heartland Inn (563-582-3752) $65; and MainStay Suites (563-557-7829) $59. To qualify for the discounted rate, please mention the University of Dubuque when making your reservation.
