The University of Evansville, a small university in Indiana's third-largest city, "is a place where you will know all of your faculty and the faculty will know you and really care about you, a place where you can really talk to your professors about anything from work, to life, to your future." It's also a place where you can pursue a number of high-quality majors. Students tell us that "the teaching, nursing, education, and music programs are all good," that "the school of business is excellent, with a brand-new building dedicated to the department" (the school is AACSB-accredited), an engineering program that is "very hands on," and a theater program that "is held in high regard." Perhaps most prestigious is the school's popular physical therapy program, which students say deserves "nothing but praise." In all disciplines, students enjoy "small discussion-based classes, a strong push towards critical thinking and challenging boundaries," and a study abroad program that "is a huge strong point." One student explains, "Since we own Harlaxton College in England, it's usually a question of when you're going, not if you're going." Adds another, "It truly is one of the best reasons to come to UE."
