Students Say
Impressively, Capitalās faculty is comprised of āscholars who are nationally known in the areas of family, childrenās, environmental, and regulatory law.ā Further, a number of professors have ā[practical] experience in litigation, negotiation, and public service.ā Accessibility is another common attribute of Capitalās faculty and, typically, they are āmore than willing to meet with students out of class when necessary.ā Students here also find that their professors are āmotivated and engaged in the material.ā Their ālove for teaching is infectiousā and they continually find ways to be ācreativeā in the classroom. And, as one sage third-year explains, āthe dedicated professors make all the difference.ā
Students certainly have a difference of opinion when it comes to Capitalās administration. As one third-year laments, āThe registarās office needs a lot of help.ā He further elaborates, ā[A]lmost every semester I attended Capital, it cancelled classes after I registered. During my fall semester of last year four out of five of the classes I wanted to take got cancelled. This semester, a class got cancelled abruptly, with over eighty students registered, because of āunforeseen changes in the professorās personal life.āā However, a second-year argues that the āadministration is generally quick to address problems,ā and a first-year asserts that they āmake great efforts to accommodate the needs of [their] students.ā
